The directives have been adapted according to the new legislative framework and Decision 768\/2008\/EC on a common framework for the marketing of products but do not include any new changes in the general requirements on the products. The directives will apply from 20th April 2016.<\/p>\n<p>The directives are subject to the following products and characteristics: electromagnetic compatibility, low-voltage, equipment and protective systems intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres, non-automatic weighing instruments, measuring instruments, lifts, simple pressure vessels.
