Government Inquiry Commission proposes a new Market Surveillance Act
The Commission also highlights needs to clarify market surveillance responsibilities in areas where these are unclear, a review of the CE marking rules, increased cooperation between authorities and improved information to business. The Commission further suggests a review of the amount of market surveillance authorities in order to concentrate responsibilities to fewer authorities.
